Project Evident Announces Inaugural Reimagining Resource Allocation: An Approach to Improvement Workshop in Austin, Texas

December 10, 2024

A Workshop Empowering School Districts to Enhance Strategic Resource Allocation and Drive Student Outcomes

Project Evident is pleased to announce Reimagining Resource Allocation: An Approach to Improvement, a new opportunity for education leaders to strengthen their ability to review data, design solutions, and then allocate resources strategically to improve student outcomes. The workshop will take place from February 3-5, 2025, in Austin, Texas, and will offer participating districts hands-on guidance from experts and peer leaders in the field.

Project Evident’s Education Agency Practice works with school districts nationwide to advance educational equity and student achievement through data-driven decision-making, evidence-based practices, and continuous improvement strategies. The inaugural workshop builds on this commitment by equipping districts with tools to prioritize initiatives, and in turn, align financial resources with the most impactful solutions.

“This workshop embodies Project Evident’s mission to empower leaders to use data and evidence to drive more effective decisions,” said Bi Vuong, Managing Director of the Education Agency Practice. “We’re excited to bring together state and district leaders and experts from across the country to tackle critical challenges related to improvement and resource allocation that can result in stronger outcomes for students.”

Workshop Highlights:

The Reimagining Resource Allocation workshop will be a time for teams to come together with other district and state leaders and education experts to:

  • Develop Knowledge and Skills. Leaders will develop and deepen knowledge in the data-informed continuous improvement process. To do so, teams will walk through processes used to identify gaps, design solutions, and create actionable next steps.
  • Establish Next Steps for Your System. Leadership teams will also have an opportunity to deepen their plans by learning how to successfully allocate resources according to priority needs. These steps will advance efforts to align student outcomes and strategic resource allocation.
  • Learn and Share with Peers, Colleagues & Experts. Leaders will participate in round table discussions and have an opportunity to learn from experienced leaders and peers who are, or have been, through this process prior.

The workshop offers full sponsorship for a team of up to five (5) representatives from each participating state education agency or district, covering airfare, hotel accommodations, and registration costs. This offer will be extended to up to ten (10) district teams.
