Project Evident Update
Project Evident Receives Generous Support From MacKenzie Scott and Dan Jewett
Our entire team is incredibly grateful to MacKenzie Scott and Dan Jewett for their generous gift to Project Evident announced today. Their support will allow us to continue to advance our vision of a Next Generation of Evidence that centers practitioners, strengthens data and evidence capacity in the social sector, and incorporates equity into evidence building and use.
As MacKenzie wrote in her announcement: “Social sector infrastructure organizations empower community leaders, support grassroots organizing and innovation, measure and evaluate what works, and disseminate information so that community leaders, elected officials, volunteers, employees, and donors at every level of income can make informed decisions about how to partner and invest. These organizations, which are themselves historically underfunded, also promote and facilitate service, which in turn inspires more people to serve.”
At only four years old, Project Evident is honored to be recognized for our work, and to be included among such an impressive and inspiring group of organizations receiving support. This gift will allow us to catalyze the next stage of our growth and to strengthen our impact – we are deeply thankful and committed to the work ahead.
