Education Leader Sagar Gokhale Joins Project Evident
Education champion and leader, Sagar Gokhale, has joined Project Evident as Managing Director of the Education Agency Practice. Gokhale brings more than 15 years of education-sector leadership and consulting experience across school districts, various state-level agencies, nonprofit organizations, and education technology, spanning system transformation, strategic growth, and executive advisory work.
“Sagar’s track record of advising education systems and nonprofits makes him an invaluable addition as Project Evident looks to scale our education portfolio,” said Kelly Fitzsimmons, CEO of Project Evident. “I have enjoyed working with him on several projects, and I’m excited to have him lead the next generation of our education agency practice team to help build on our successes through scalable, evidence-based services, tools, and partnerships.”
Most recently, Gokhale served as the Partnerships Director at K12 Coalition, where he led partnerships, sales, and solutions design efforts across the Midwest states and Texas. As a Partner at The New Teacher Project’s Midwest Division, Sagar led Michigan-wide engagements and dramatically expanded the organization’s footprint and impact on student outcomes in the state. While at Guidehouse/PwC Public Sector, he led numerous organizational transformation engagements across various state agencies.
Gohkale also served as Senior Director of Strategy, Policy, and Charter Authorization in the Office of Innovation and Incubation at Chicago Public Schools. Here, he led a team that significantly enhanced the district’s portfolio of 107 charter campuses serving approximately 50,000 students. A trusted advisor to public sector executives — including governors and state education leaders — he has consistently delivered creative solutions to complex challenges across public sector agencies, and within K-12, in academic programming, principal and teacher development, and human capital management.
