AI for Inclusive R&D and Equitable Outcomes in Education
Equitable student outcomes, especially those related to math and reading performance, are the lowest we’ve seen in decades. AI provides practitioners an exciting opportunity to support talent, accelerate solutions, and mobilize evidence to mitigate learning loss. In our panel, we will explore the potential for AI to drive inclusive R&D and stronger student outcomes, cover risks associated with bias and misuse, and guide participants through a process to assess their readiness to engage with AI. Vote for us to help provide practitioners with the practical knowledge and skills they need to support their AI journey.
Featuring:
- Kelly Fitzsimmons, CEO & Founder, Project Evident
- Sarah Di Troia, Senior Strategic Advisor, Project Evident
- Sasha Rabkin, Ed.D., President, Equal Opportunity Schools
- James Larimore, Co-Founder and Chair, EdSAFE AI Alliance
Mitigating the Future Funding Cliff: A Strategy Session
A future fiscal cliff looms large for our schools which can potentially exacerbate the already unprecedented declines in student performance, declining enrollment, and staffing shortages. Led by practitioners who navigated the School District of Philadelphia out of a $300M budget shortfall and are now in the throes of planning for the future funding cliff, this workshop will provide participants with tools and processes that will help them make more strategic and thoughtful choices about budgeting and resource allocation, including how to leverage external partnerships to address service gaps. Vote for our proposal to ensure practitioners have the tools and resources needed for the upcoming school year.
Featuring:
- Bi Vuong, Managing Director, Project Evident
- Matt Stanski, Chief Financial Officer, Anne Arundel Public Schools
- Karyn Lynch, Chief of Student Support Services, Philadelphia Schools
